What a Fairy Tale..

Well, I can't lie, I didn't stay up to watch the Royal Wedding when it aired at 3 am, but the pictures have been magnificent! Kate looks absolutely stunning!

Kate's dress, designed by Alexander Mcqueen's successor, Sarah Burton, is simple but stunning. Its not quite the train worn by Princess Diana, but its beautiful. Also, quite the tribute to Grace Kelly, who was also a commoner who married royalty in 1956.

After looking at countless pictures like this on tumblr & The British Monarchy's Flickr (lol) I just can't fathom how amazing it would be to be part of something that spectacular and beautiful! I a girl can only dream ..
I suppose my only hope to become a princess now is to fly to England and try to win Harry's heart! (I always thought he was cuter anyways :p)

Summer dreaming..

For years, literally years, I have been planning on ordering a jcrew bathing suit. And this year, with San Francisco, Spain, Idaho and priest lake, I'm finally doing it! Now comes the hard part, which one?!

While the patters are adorable, especially the seersucker, I've decided on one of the heritage solids. Given the fact that I've waited wayy to far into the season (you would think I would have learned after 5 years) most of the colors are back ordered :/ I think, I'm going to go with one of these two styles..

The color on the other hand, way harder to choose! :p

Anyways, happy easter to everyone! I everyone had a fabulous day filled with good people and good food :) I know I did.

Its already half way through the quarter, and while I don't want my Junior year to come to a close, I CANNOT wait until summer. David is coming home to spokane in less than a month! I'm driving over to see him, of course! and I literally, can't wait. I miss him :( Then he's off to San Francisco for an internship! In June, I'll be heading down to visit him and my best friend for about a week, then its off to España :) Needless to say, life is good.

Voy a Seville!

This summer my life long dream of visiting Spain is finally coming true! As of June 29th, I'll be spending just about a month in the beautiful region of southern spain!

With 5 quarters of college-level spanish in tow, I'll be spending 3 and a half weeks in a home stay and taking a class with CIEE. I'm slightly nervous that everything i've learned will all of the sudden totally fail me, but fingers crossed that won't be the case!

If all goes as planned (aka I pass a placement test) I'll be taking a class on the Culture and Cuisine of Southern Spain!! Complete with cooking classes, how amazing? Hopefully its full of seeing new things, learning lots of spanish, eating good food, and if I'm lucky, some shopping!

Needless to say, its a dream come true :)

Busy, busy, busy

This quarter is proving to be about 3 times the amount of reading from my last two quarter, ironic because they were completely full of english classes!!

During my time spent 'studying' I stumbled across this awesome website which sells adorable notebooks and planners. Super simple and amazingly cute! I'm in love. Take a look at Sarah Pinto's Planners!

The story behind the planners is pretty interesting as well. As she describes in her bio, her youngest son was born with a heart defect. While he is okay today, she donates a portion of the proceeds to CPMC Pediatric Cardiology!! Another great reason to check her out! I wish I could have them all, but I think I decided on the 'Horseshoe Planner.'

Also, a new edition of Matchbook Magazine is online! Its fabulous as usual! With tons of great fashion and decor tips! Definitely worth a look :)

Sperry's, bright colors, etc. What's not to love?? And I have the striped t-shirt :p

Well time for bed and then back to school life. Is it summer yet?
