Spring Break

Spring break is finally over, what a fabulous two weeks though. Well mostly the first half, the second was consumed by work, work, and more work. The Vancouver and Spokane with david was great, we had an absolutely amazing time. It was great to see his family (and his dog :p) again too.

I learned a few things in canada though:
1) The people there are just nicer. end of story.
2) Rain follows me.
3) Apparently 3 pm isn’t considered cocktail hour.
4) Clubs are not "hoppin’" on tuesday nights.
5) “Black Swan” is an interesting movie, and is totally not about ballet.
6) Crying in the airport really feels as awkward as you think it might.
7) My boyfriend is the sweetest :)

Dinner at Lupo, celebrating a whole quarters worth of events :p

It really sucked to say goodbye again, but its time for spring quarter, and hopefully some sunshine! I've packed all my shorts to take back to school :) I was born for sunshine.

Obsession du jour

Stumbled across a link to this online magazine on everything fab. And I am obsessed.

They're pretty new, launched in January 2011 to be exact. They release monthly (adorable) online magazines about fashion, art, culture, etc. Lots of cute clothes/ideas, not to mention the adorable website, I'm a sucker for a well-made website :p Here's a pic from their most recent issue!

I've found the best thing about online magazines is the instant link to the website where you can find the item. Talk about instant gratification!

Click here to check them out!

In short, I'm in love and spent a good 45 minutes today of precious study time reading through their issues instead. Gotta love finals and procrastination.

Spring break in however long it takes me to write a killer 4-6 page final paper. :)

About Me :)

My name is Stephanie and I'm currently a junior in college. I'm studying English and International Relations.
I've lived in the pacific northwest for my entire life. I love it, but the weather can be a real downer. Its not even the rain so much as it is the greyness, day after day after day. I love the sun and I love the snow, and we rarely get either of those things over here.
I go to school really close to home, which is nice sometimes because I love my family and I'm a total homebody. Buuuut, I've decided I need to get out of this city for graduate school and explore some other part of the united states. I have an amazing boyfriend, who I love very much. But the long, long distance is less than ideal. We make it work though :)
I'm starting this blog as an outlet outside of the confines of facebook! And also to follow some blogs I really love!
